when dusk meets dawn

I was the shadow, and she was the light I was nothing without her and everything with her Where there is light, there is shadow, where there is no light, there is no shadow. When she was there, the best parts in me came out, parts I never knew existed, like petals unfolding in the dawn. The light I never knew I needed so badly It's like oxygen I breathe in it, I breathed in her scent. And suddenly, the light was gone, losing myself in the void, a shadow fading into the dark, leaving nothing but an echo in its wake, never to be found again.
