When Did We Forget
Do you know the mystical, Rainbow magical-loves looking all dazzle-lee?
Their brilliant smiles and expressions of pure love upliftingly jazzily?
Hidden among the earthling blue-bloods who might misunderstand.
Dancing on Mother Spirit Wind, in a melodious band.
Shaken out on special holidays, and enjoyed in fauna’s and floras,
Well-known by the faith-filled ones who can sense their imaginative auras.
Some come disguised as flowers, others are pixies or songs.
They often lurk in treetops, tinkling and flickering along.
As young children, the blue bloods appreciated the Rainbow magical-loves so.
At what age they began forgetting to believe in them we truly do not know.
The blowing of a dandelion seed, a fluttering hummingbird’s wing,
the hearty laugh of a blue blood’s two-year-old, at a pretty robin’s sing,
our rainbow earthlings guard every plant, animal, and fairy, to which they cleave.
The only job you have as a blue blood is to remember how to child-like believe.
