When Darkness Falls
tis the night that fades the days
combing the sun of all its rays
gathers the blankets to cover the dew
the valley sleeps which will later ensue.
darkness blinds the sky covering its glare
shades open for the stars and moon to share
becomes a nightlight to set the stage
of nature’s theater which begins to engage.
night will settle those who sleep
preserving the beauty which nature keeps
shades of light unveil the rekindled dawn
will happens again when the curtains are drawn
