When Angels Cry

They had all come down from above
Each created out of Gods love
Their mission they did not fear
For they knew the reason why they were truly here

Yet another of Gods unborn
As from the womb thou shall be torn
But alone you shall not be
For the Lord has sent us to carry you free

Come and take our hand
For we have come to take you to His promise land
For you are no longer part of this earth
But yet another baby without a birth

And as all but one of them ascend back away
An Angel takes one more look down upon the decay
And there a teardrop from the Angels eye
I didn’t think angels were supposed to cry
