When America Is Great Again
A man stands at the window, and stares into the night.
The stars look a little different, from this point of view.
He sees the secret service men, keeping eyes open.
They turn then looking up, give him the all clear.
The night air is dreamy, and he drifts off into the past.
How the reality embraces, what he thought might be.
The power he holds in his hand, and the weight of it.
He knows he can do this, In dreams they said so.
Men who stood there and questioned the same moon.
And asked for help from a god, who might not be there.
When no one on Earth could say, the right way to go.
As the weight of the world falls, on one mans shoulders.
The bright lights of the media shine, and light bulbs pop.
As the eyes of the world look on, and history is created.
How a man who wants just to help, tells it like it will be.
When the bell that was cracked, rings clear once more!
