When All Is Gone

when all that is left is taken
kept at hand and not forsaken
memories restore and cannot be taken
the past will remain and not be forsaken

visions will etch its bygones and restore
images strengthen the remote losses and more
piece by piece recreation will restore
all that was lost will be back for evermore
