When All Is All

What will happen when all the stories have been written,
All the world seen, and all the words spoken?
Will our words go silent and eyes go blind?
When there's nothing left to find, will we close our minds?
When the secret of life is discovered,
And nothing left to uncover,
Will men become Gods and build cities of light,
Or will or souls become demons,
And crumble by their own might?
When all lies have been told and only truth remain,
Will honesty honestly keep us sane,
Or will the pureness of our own words only cause us pain?
We search and search for all knowledge, imbuing,
But when all is all, will it be our undoing?
