When All Are Lost

When all the words are lost,
When all the tears have been shed,
When silence has broken free
Know the clock has taken its toll.

When the film has been played for too long,
When the lakes' grounds are cracked
When the shadows no longer roamed,
Know the earth's sleep has been called.

The once mighty birds of the skies,
The known blue waves of the sea
The dancing leaves of the ground
The lullaby has been played.

A floating dream of reality,
The blazing blanket of the cold,
The unlit candles of the dark,
I woke to a mother's cry.
