When a Man Departs
When a man departs flies off into oblivion.
Everybody encounters the place,
is much closer to what we believe
and yet hidden.
Oblivion
covered with layer upon layer of feigned feelings
covered with layers and layers of loving dedication to those who have been by your side.
No matter how far we have drifted,
almost nothing remains.
When a man departs
leaves something of his own life to others
-Or so he himself thought-;
but, sometimes, it just turns out to be
his own name written in big letters over stone,
while he becomes something more ethereal
just a haze of tiredness.
When a man departs flies off into oblivion.
but finally flies free.
