When she was younger and had fire in her eyes...
When I was an unregretful wondering soul...
When the sound of the waves on the beach was all we heard...
When the snow covered the country road...
When I believed in love as much as I breathe...
When I lived within the trees and the breeze...
When we weren't chained to our cumbersome lives...
When we weren't husbands, parents, nor wives...
When magic was still real and there were no aging pains...
