What's Worst?

I have a huge heart
but it's almost impossible to break in
because I have all these tests
and qualifications
But here you go pushing my fragile buttons
opening my eyes to what really matters
You could always make me smile
and I can't help but let my invisible shield down
the problem with that is I can't fall for you
she already has you and so I let down my guard
only to never have you.

Shahana, the more I read of your work, the more I am convinced that you do, indeed, "have a huge heart." Let's just concentrate on finding a worthy man for you! Best wishes, Carolyn

This is very good.. love the second line..nice.. your heart impossible to penetrate..i get the feeling that the voice in the piece could love easily if he wasn't taken.
