What's This - a Narrative From Jack

Now this is quite rare A narrative from Jack He's under the weather Or brain cells he lacks This Limerick Master Has fallen out of line Second and fourth lines Actually do rhyme Hope there's some hope Or a pill he can take To cure him of narratives What a horrible fate Quatrains can also Slip into the mix Quite unexpectedly They use dirty tricks They'll disguise themselve Thinking Jack's a stooge In reality, to be honest They'll soon be screwed Enough of this nonsence It was just a wee blip Before blinking an eye Lims will be back on his lips So the bottom line is this He ran off of the track But surely you can trust him His Limericks will be back Locked in a tiny room Folks seem a li'l strange Don't think they're all normal But I'm definitely sane! I found truth and honesty in all your words Jack, but that last line was pure poetic license, lol

You're right... we can get away with all kinds of silly nonsense and just call it poetic license! LOL

not true that you don't do narrative in rhyme, the first time I've read your work, it was a long one... something about how you met your bride...:) the one where you said you were s nervous you almost swallowed your dentures! hahaha...loved this one too! :) it inspired one of my lims!
