A promise they’ll keep? Was their resolve deep? Make plans. Hour glass sands. Out of our hands. Time slips away. Must not delay. Chance of survival. Life’s a revival. It all depends. Must make amends. If we knew how long. Would it make us strong? Did they give a year. Will I be here? Make a bucket list. Will I be missed? They say life is short. I’m here to report. When told they give, A year to live, The things you didn’t do, Seem important too. Next year is in doubt. Is what it’s about, Fun and laughter, Peace ever after, Happiness and cheer, So happy New Year.
