Whats Important

Edge of chair
I sat and studied
Chess board life
Pieces muddied
So much to think of-so much to do
Suddenly across from me was You
Settled in relaxed and sure
Always the nature pure
Grace and strength
Swept your mighty right arm
Home upon the ground did pieces find
Quick a look
Not chance, discovery took
Each piece thought so important
Laid like trash it did
In front of me a clean board, clean life
You leaned in with mercy and grace
Your smile across my chess board life.
