What's Goin' On

people unforgiving keep dwelling on old sorrows i reckon, not woebegone easier sometimes to continue despair than put the past behind what's goin' on there's too little tears to be drawn the world really prefers not to fawn contentedly in streaming box unaware but open eyes see what's goin' on dominos fall as times events feed upon long time coming, since before the dawn marchers marchin' proudly in the square to tell me now...what's goin' on people's days in stated transition changes now speed and grow and spawn everyone feels they know that they're going to change what's goin' on nations and peoples may now catch on all want to love and depend upon our souls unread but minds now aware we tell ourselves what's goin' on these lines and looks just ramble on to make more puzzles that set upon people's lives and loves in disrepair but still there's somethin' goin' on didn't see that you, i'd come upon that fate's just a conclusion forgone to think maybe there's love in the air i'll tell you i see what's goin' on i know you feel like a mute swan maybe you think i too, am one ask if i'm really an unanswered prayer tell me you want what's goin' on speak to me now, before I'm gone secret truths you've held tight upon all fear and joy you want to share you tell me...what's goin' on with gentle touch we lay hands on strangers and those we count upon life out of touch seems so unfair going to reach now for what's goin' on © Goode Guy 2012-02-24

I enjoyed this one. I loved the title which drew me to it. For it reminded me of that old song by that same title.
