What's Eating Me

Foundation founded on;
Superficial societal stares..
Teenagers teary truth...
Of a perfect purging prayer...

Supermodels and stars...
On a pedastal of peers...
Engorging every entree...
Appauled at how they appear...

Succulently still unsatisifed...
Baking another bite...
Indulgence is imminent...
Famine is nil a fright...

Nauseated near spent...
Dieting with no drive...
Vomiting every morsel...
This is how I feel alive....

Hoping this is not you. It is an incredible write which makes me feel so sad for the pressure society puts on teenage girls, however I know adults who suffer also. An amazing poetic statement on a most disturbing subject. Excellent title. Love, Shar
