Whatever Mirages [thoughts and Free Form]
To think, to dream, to imagine;
What capacities our minds achieve in such a sudden short appearance of intellect,
Breathing [a]new idea of life into our burning souls,
Searching for meaning among every clover, bright in the sun like our eyes in love.
What capabilities we have come by to change our eyes into doors,
Passages leading us the path of honesty and morality;
Short outbursts of life changing moments.
To believe, to find compassion, to lead;
All following something that guides our spirits to completion,
Searching for identities and differences, facets of idolism that change what we are;
Striving for change, and yet, to remain the same. . .
What failures lead up to brilliance,
To the ability to forgive and protect;
To find one soul, one individual among billions to care for; to caress in simple glances.
To go against all rules, all laws, and find freedom in simple moments.
To create, to extract, to understand;
Apparitions standing before us to never be seen, lending wisdom and ideas slowly,
And yet, among our gods we walk blindly,
Holding only onto what we have left in this desert of a world,
Never to truly find meaning in what we have among us;
Whatever mirages they may be.
