Whatever Kills Us Before We Wake Up

Let’s run off into the sunset, Watch the moon fade into the sky, The stars shining down on us, And the wind kisses us goodnight, The sand beneath our feet, The rubies of love sparkling in our eyes, Let’s lay out in the cloud cover, Watching the flowers sing their song, A broken path of stones, Fin-tip arrows follow us home, The darkness is our light, We can’t breathe forever in the state were in, The beauty of it all soon turns to black, The dreams, to nightmares, And the sea to red, Sapphires missing, The casket door closes, And here we are stranded.
