Whatever For
God I am sadden by the fact that
Everything can be taken away
That we are only here because of your grace
We have what we have is because of you
God so what do we have?
What can we call our own?
What do we know that it cannot be taken away?
Just a blink of an eye
You take everything away
Everything changed
Our world became so dark
We even change
We could not even recognize our world
We feel different
Not the same
What for Lord?
What did you try to prove?
Apart from robbing us of our security
That knowing that we don’t own it
It’s all yours
Why do you want us to feel uncertain?
And that nothing lasts forever
Well God
You can have it all
Because I don’t want it
I am going to lose it all anyway
I think I am going to stop keep on trying
It does not work anyway
