Whatever
If God gave it to you
No matter what you do
He is not going to take it away
And vice versa
If He didn't give it to you
No matter what you do
You are not going to have it
So what is the lesson here?
Don't change the mind of God
And don't think He is changing
I have to learn the hard way
God one time told me not to like this guy
I ended up liking him
And got my heart broken
Funny the thing we do
It wasn't that I outrightly disobeyed God
I thought I had convinced Him to listen to me
And at one time even believed that He had changed His mind
So you see God never changes
If He tells you no
The answer is no
And will be no
Don't think you have some smart power
And can talk God into that
- whatever it is you are doing
I have to remember that
Because a lot of times it makes no sense
But later a lot of sense
Whoever can see the mind of God?
No one
But He can see the mind of ours
