What Your Love Did

Your love made me weak. Losing you made me weaker. Leaving me in the wake of your shadow. i let the absence kill me inside. waiting for a hero that would never come. Waiting...letting myself turn cold and numb. Your love made me strong. Losing you made me stronger. The desolation hurt me to my core. And i felt like my broken heart wouldnt beat anymore. but while my heart was bleeding. My heart kept beating and i can carry on alone.

Sad how selfish parents can be...but sometimes it is fate or illness that separates them from us--illness is a host of things, sometimes unseen by the eye and only visible to the heart and spirit. The soul is immortal and all powerful; surely writing is a path to greater understanding and beauty. Inspirational, excellent writing! Thank you for sharing.
