What You Stole From Me

You can hide who you are, But nothing will take away the scar That you left in my life when you took it upon yourself to steal a piece of my childhood away. You walk around as if nothing happened telling yourself it was just a game But what you have seemed to have forgotten Is you hurt another human being. You stole a part of my life that I will never get back. I try to forgive and forget but when I see the smile upon your face I get sick all over again. Your day is coming you will see God is your judge and jury don't you see I just live with the memories.

This sounds like such a terrible event that happened in your life, I hate hearing about it my friend! I hope that in writing this poem your are healed a little bit more, and may you heal even more by the comfort that you receive from each person that reads it as well! I want to offer you this comfort by telling you that I will pray for you and keep you in my thoughts Cory! I wish I could tear these memories away from you, but try to substitute them with something beautiful! Excellent Work!!
