What You Do To Me
Every time you speak or come back around
My blood speeds up as my heart begins to pound,
You always make me blush with your words so sweet
They make me love you more with every heartbeat,
You’ve gained my love and you're holding my heart
Our souls are connected and they’ll never part,
You enhance my life and I want no other
And I’m so incredibly glad we found one another,
Now whenever I feel alone
You'll be there in my heart where you're always known,
What can I do you make me feel so free!!
But bound by your love so helplessly,
I'm kind of scared I never loved someone this much
I bet I’d melt at your touch,
Please oh please don’t break my heart
Because if you do I might fall apart,
I’m so independent and use to being emotionally strong
That me being loved like this at first felt wrong,
But now your love has settled in my heart
So please, please, please don't make it part,
I love you so much and hold you so dear
Since you're always in my heart you’re forever here.
