What Would I Do

What would I do without you
to cheer me when I'm blue?
What would I do if I didn't have you
  to say "hello" to?
And, what would I do at the end of the day
if you didn't have anything to say?

For you have brightened my days
  and shone through the nights
that were empty and lonely and full of strife.
Yes, what would I do if you weren't in my life?
