What Words Can Become

Words become a bridge between two hearts.
Connecting two complete but different parts.
The words we do say record who we are.
They bridge the space to a place that was far.

Words join together to create a point of view.
Becoming the history of all we’ve been through.
When put together the meaning is revealed.
Words become hope so our fate isn’t sealed.

I write many things that appear as just words.
Together they become a melody like notes to birds.
Each one seems to have its own special place.
The sentence becomes the words saving grace.

I look all around to see how things connect.
I look for the cause and then see the effect.
I think without words what the world would be .
How could we describe all the beauty we see?

Words become the paint to create this vision.
Sometimes they collide the sentence is the collision.
They seem to tell this story of what life’s about.
They become light in the shadows of doubt.

They are a tool or a weapon depending upon the use. I don't know if the shadows push me to my grave maybe this is so. My hope seems to outshine the shadows they are just temporary like many things in life the have a certain shelves time and then they expire. I enjoyed the conversation too:) Have a great day and take care....Mark

Good morning Mark, I agree with you when you say, "Happiness comes from oneself!" I'm a bit selfish*in a fun way* I expect for others to make me happy. I told my boyfriend, that I'm depending and holding him responsible for my happiness. Yes once he broke my heart~ I found out why. I had based my happiness on him.. and once i found out that we are responsible for our own dew's... I turned around and laughed and said.. "NOPE YOUR RESPONSIBLE FOR MY HAPPINESS"~ I'm silly. thanks~PD

I don't think this is silly at all iy kind of fall under a commmitment to make each other happy. My only point is they can try until the cows come home but if you don't realize the happiness within yourself it becomes a void that can never be filled sort of like a bottomless hole. I wish you well and take care...Mark

Worda are quit important they can be powerful tools or weapons that one should fear. I don't know about brilliance I will be gracious and say thank you but I'm not sure if it's a fit for me. I'd rather just reach the audience and they understand:) Have a great day and thanks for all your kindness the world could be better with more people like you......Mark
