What Will You Say

What will you say when you stand before God? Can you justify the path you’ve trod? Will you be comfortable to speak? Or will you feel that there’s much you should tweak? You may say that you’ll simply refrain, From standing in His presence you’ll merely abstain. Do you really think that you’ll have that choice? Have you confidence in your own voice? An interesting thought in all of this Is that this appointment you will not miss. You may think that you can hide But the books on you will be open wide. The solution to this problem is really not hard You need not be completely off guard. Those things in life about which you fret Are things that can be settled yet. They must, however, be addressed here They are things that can simply disappear. Confess them to He who has paid the price At Calvary with His supreme sacrifice.
