What Will Tomorrow Bring
"What will tomorrow bring ?" he asked.
"Ah, you are young, yes, young indeed,"
Said the old man with an old smile.
"Tomorrow will bring yesterday's seed."
"Ah, you are young, yes, young indeed,
To see ahead, you must look back.
Tomorrow will bring yesterday's seed.
The future's from a small thin pack."
To see ahead you must look back.
You see what was planted in rows.
The future's from a small thin pack -
A tiny seed that grows and grows.
You see what was planted in rows -
Was it harsh or a loving smile?
A tiny seed that grows and grows -
It becomes large in quite a short while.
"Was it harsh or a loving smile?"
Said the old man with an old smile.
"It becomes large in quite a short while -
What will tomorrow bring?" he asked.
