What we See

I see him as seventeen With lots of dark black hair Intensely fervent about life An expert in many things His car is a 1959 pink Cadillac with tail fins Yes, that car! He bought it for five hundred dollars From a rich doctor, who wanted something new He sees me as sixteen He knows he wants something But he is too innocent to know what He gives me that smile, and I laugh
