What Was That

What was that?
My husband and I look at each other
It looked like a hybrid
Part raccoon, part cat
Possibly weasel
It ran right out in front of us
I look up Ringtail Weasel
There is such an animal
It is nocturnal, rarely found in the daytime
We are not surprised to see it is also called Ringtail cat

hmmm...wish I had seen it. I love seeing animals I have never seen in their wild, natural habitat.

I am glad my husband drives like an old man; we missed it because it ran right out in front of us - about 15 feet in front of us.
