what two rives are the longest in the world

When I asked the fifth grade students to guess What two rivers are the longest in the world I was not surprised with Missouri and Mississippi. Many are not global thinkers. Most had not heard of the Nile or the Amazon. Both of these are over four thousand miles long. Where the Amazon ends is uncertain. But they are within fifty miles of being equal lengths. I cannot imagine seeing either, can you?
