What To Do

Here I stand In an empty room, Screaming in frustration At four walls That cannot feel The pain of my loneliness Or the depth of my despair. Two people Needing each other. So close And yet so far away.... What to do....what to do? Desperately wanting To be her knight In shining armor, Riding off into the sunset Together.... Holding her in my arms And kissing her pain away. But my armor is Tarnished and dented And my weapons Rusted with age. Life is not a fairy tale And there is no happy ending. The empty room is My mind.... And the screaming is in My soul.
