What This Life Has Done

I’m riding my way through blistering winds I’m riding my way through the scorching heat I rode my way through heavy rainfalls I rode my way through cold days and nights I wouldn’t wish this life upon my enemy It seems that this life has taken up all my energy What can I use as a remedy? At the age of fifteen I was supposed to walk Mama that was your goal for me Why I had to make it seem That you were the enemy Back then my independence Was the only strategy And now that you are gone This life has taken up all energy Life has moved on And I found love I live happily It is good to know I can talk about chemistry It feels good to know this life Has given back all my energy When life gets this good Who needs an enemy?
