What the Night Holds

What the Night Holds
For me what the night holds is a sense of excitement
a sense of wonder
Of how life is
and my thoughts that I ponder
Enjoying the night for it soon shall pass
And wake from our sound slumber
Back to looking through the hours sandglass
Yes my creativity flows like the sands of time
And yet can only be seen in these dreams of mine
Once it was said
enjoy life for what it is
Have faith in yourself
 Let yourself live

Here it is Sunday and the begining of a new week is upon us. And August is leaving us way to soon. I am enjoying reading such excellent poems today and am happy to see your poetry among them Amy. May your pen forever flow. Love, Carol
