Secrets, now memories, piggybacked through summer. On handlebars, calloused fingers steered dirt bikes to an emerald kingdom. Two boys, on tree stump thrones, ruled worms unearthed with splendid crowns of sundrenched leaves, carefree. Written 2/27/17

gosh, you did yours so much better than I did. I wrote a tanka not yet entered or shown here. I just love how you did yours, Rhonda. Probably one of the best I have seen yet. For me, it was the best picture too.

This poem was absolutely fantastic and brought back many memories of my youth when with a bicycle you could go anywhere your feet and imagination would take you. Wonderfully done Rhonda.
