What Price a Child's Soul

A child's soul was once priceless, A child's soul was once beyond the reach of most things evil, A child's soul was once safe in the hands of 99 out of every hundred. Do you remember the first time you saw a loss of a child's soul, Do you remember the first time they showed it on the telly Do you remember the advert that spawned the practice. It seemed like harmess fun, It seemed like money for Jam, It seemed like a learning opportunity for the child. Oh had we but known, what it would do to the soul, Oh had we but known, what it would herald in, Oh had we but known, what it would encourage. Now we must pay the price, Now we must endure the same scene over and over again, Now we must watch as children are used to sell every product known to man. Do you not cringe as add after add has a child strategically placed in it, Do you not cringe as children are talking up adult products. Do you not cringe as children speak with forked tongues. Is there no one who cares what it does to their souls, Is there no one who cares what it does to those who buy what the child says, Is there no one who cares what it does signify about our own culpability.

Thank you for those comforting words. I was an early Childhood Teacher for thirty years and wrote a book called "Suffer the Little Children" which I self published as topic is too painful for mst to tackle. Best regards David in NZ
