What Poetry Means To Me
To me, poetry is a life line to my brain and heart that longs for real feelings. It’s the expression of ideas and awareness that cannot be conveyed except in a poem.
It’s like a twine that encircles my being with beauty and truth that makes me cry. Some poems reach deep inside my
soul, to a place I never knew existed.
Poetry captures images so profound and intricate making me face strange emotions. At times, these poems touch me with sensations I cannot explain.
When I read a poem with rhythm and perfect meter, the sound is like a warm soothing music that only angels can produce.
What does poetry means to me? It means that there is beauty in this material world of ours.
