What More Shall I Ask
It doesn't really matter these casualties of the life I've lived; for from my
heart is the esteem to give.
Seeing things in an endeared light through the same eyes and perhaps much
brighter.
The world had tangled me into believing I was this complex being, but I stand
here as the shadows part my path-- knowing there's lessons learned and
courage is merely allowing truth to reign high on my journey - so hold fast to
those simplicities that get the heart pumping and release childish inhibitions.
I like Saturdays with Mom; lunch at eleven o' clock sharp and I leave with a
bunch of things I really don't need. I like time spent with the children for it
warms the soul. I like drives in the country, remembering how it used to be
and knowing above all things that success isn't a goal- it's a way of life; it
doesn't involve money, fortune or fame. It is what tender marks we imprint
here and there that leave a lasting affect as a whole.
I thought about what could I do that I have not already done and my list
became vague; for within my God Given name are the meaning "Light"
and "Love".
As I walk, He walks with me. As I speak about Him, He is in the midst.
As I write He blesses this for He knows my intent. What more shall I ask?
