What More Does It Take
Thinking of all the things that you do every day,
And people continue to act the same way.
Why is it that people just don’t understand,
That You are the One and only Man
That created this great land.
You make it possible for people to get around
And they still continue to act like clowns.
You are the One that blessed them with many skills
And they still don’t want to do your will.
When is it that people will finally see
That Your way is the only way it needs to be.
You show people time and time again how much you care.
And when times get rough it’s your burdens He always bears.
Haven’t they realized whenever they begin to cry,
You are the one that wipes the tears from your eyes.
Don’t they know when friends are no where to be found,
You are the One that seems to always be around.
When it seems that there is no more that you can do
Just when you are about to give up don’t they see you always pull them through
Just tell me what more does it have to take,
For them to realize that You are always there regardless of the mistake.
You are always there for them each and every day
No matter how big or small the task you always seem to make a way.
It’s your love and affection that they always need to show
Because in the end what will happen if it’s your face He doesn’t know
