What Might Be in Front of Me

     Easy to look back at
        a life that rolled along

     A joyful stream of melody
        each day a brand-new song

     Yet today I wonder
what might be in front of me…

     Perchance what lies ahead
~ the climax to life’s symphony

After reading your poem of what was in front of me I saw the ad below it "No sugar challenge based on your age." of nude woman's behinds growing larger as they aged. How ironic was that? lol...

ha, ha, ha, ha. Iconic, if not ironic.

AGAIN, a beautiful write, Gershon. Your words filled me with a bittersweet melancholy, I feel them deeply, in my Fall-seasoned parts and see my Spring and Summer pieces shadow-wave at me. I am moved. I am in need of humor. Gotta shake it off. Such writing! Love, CayCay

The ending is the key. As in baseball: Spring homers are for show; October's for the dough. Hey, I'm gonna post that tonight. Thanks for the inspiration, Pala.
