What Matters the Start,The End

What matters? The start: the end
Once there lived,
A man that sinned,
But once he realized,
That hell beckoned,
The man did change,
And a saint was born.

Again there lived,
A man who failed,
Who got beat down,
And on his back fell flat,
But when he fell he arose,
And when he fell again he rose,
And in the end a winner was born.

Once there lived,
A young beautiful woman,
Whose beauty spoke,
And beckoned to all,
And those who saw her were amazed,
Who loved the mirrors and a heart to capture and break,
But then time flew and the wrinkles came,
The dark silken hair became snow white,
And from the vain foolish girl,
A beautiful wise old woman was born.

Life is like a river,
There is always a source, a start,
It may be nasty, it may be tasty,
But let’s not in haste,
Choose to hate,
For what matters will be the end,
Will there be a lake or will we wither up.
And like the mist dissolve into thin air
in haste when we see the sun?

Nice words. Life is a journey with one common destination, the pleasure is in the journey and the people we meet along the way. Comes across beautifully. Kind regards Ian
