Notes About The Poem

What Matters Most To Me An End To the Covid-19

What Matters Most to Me.

What's in my heart, to see
What matters most to me.

It is really hard
To stand outside the yard.

A most welcome relief
The demise of sad grief.

That has made us ponder,
What has changed. I wonder

This thing that still exist
Time of strife that persist

In our daily life cries,
Helpless innocence dies

What matters most to me;

That everyone gets back
To their normal everyday life.
No more selfish greed,
No more hostility and strife,
No more angst, confusion and panic
An end to the COVID-19.

Dark times Eve. It would be wonderful if this pandemic united all mankind now and in the future. We can only but hope. Hope you're well. Tom.
