Both Rumi and Hafiz are primary sources of inspiration for me, and participating in the Rumi contest gave me inspiration for this poem :)

7. Sensitive and truthful, Darren. "What love looks like" - fascinating thing. And you found it and told us, and you've got this sometimes harsh old man choked up. ||........|| Serious question here: was it hard for you to write that?

Doug - It is brutal, but distance never separates two people truly in love. Darren - It does make for good love poems even though the pain is so great sometimes, but remember, "Together forever, never apart. Sometimes in distance but never in heart", Love you boo ;-)

Doug, I am honoured with your 7!! And that it made you emotional. Yes, in fact it IS hard to write about. The person I love lives across the ocean, and although we speak daily on Skype, I am forever feeling so sad and torn up because I haven't been able to see him in person yet... It makes for good love poems though, doesn't it...
