What Lies Beneath the Lies

Though man can speak a language filled with truth The words and deeds from man can be a lie These liar's lips are formed in days of youth When they try and hide to disqualify In every frightened moment lies return Claim a righteous reason to fill their need Whether pain is caused is of no concern It's their bane of existence to mislead A lie will steal your honor formed at birth It is a gift that's given not to lose To hold tight, know its value and its worth Honor is only lost, for you to chose What lies beneath the lies of liar's lips? A conscience lacking nor its ownership 2/10/17 contest What Lies Beneath the Lies
