Notes About The Poem
- I thought this poem up while dressing for the day. I chose two gray shirts and saw the color differences immediately. But these were two gray shirts. Putting the icing on the cake it was raining. That's where I get my ideas from. Experience, as most folks do.
What Kind of Gray Are You
What kind of gray are you?
Are you a sullen gray on the saddest days?
Do you cause the blues?
Maybe you're a rainy day of gray
Do you settle in the clouds?
I suppose you're just a timid gray daze away.
Should we only be afraid?
You are just a dusty gray
You are My shirt gray!
But you amaze!
Does a brightly shining sun hide behind you?
Yes! You are a cloudy gray.
I am dismayed on this and other
Crowded clouded days.
What type of gray would you rather be?
Choices in deed.
