what killed you?

was it the boy with the big blue eyes
was it the girl with the long brown hair
was it the pack of 20 cigarettes 
or was it the pills you decided to throw down your throat
at 3 A.M on a Saturday night.
what killed you?
what burned your throat 
made your head pound rapidly & 
made you tremble at night.
what was it that made your head spin
your mind wander 
and your heart break into tiny little pieces?
