What It's Like To Be a Dreamer

What is it like to be a dreamer?

It’s like being told a honest lie,
and then being slapped in the face.

It’s like being restless,
and lost, in a
Four dimensional 
Infinitely floored
Hotel. 

It’s like feeling you’ve found 
A way to devour the divergence,
But no way
to escape the convergence.

It’s like chasing something cunning,
But also being chased
by something else cunning. 

It’s like being jealous,
Jealous enough to lose your mind, 
And Jealous enough to make you feel warm.

It’s like being shot up 
straight into the sky
But being dragged down 
in a never ending spiral. 

It’s so crazy,
But it’s also so fun.

That’s why it’s so confusing.

Faraz Ajmal July 9, 2018 at 8:23 AM You are right, it is crazy but fun as well, maybe just for a few moments but it takes us to a world of our own, where there aren't any worries or problems and we are at peace, if we see dream then we must have the potential to fulfill them coz a unfulfill dream can destroy you, always remember waiting is diffucult but regretting in worse, and nothing is impossible, so you can certainly achieve whatever you dream, a really beautiful poem it was, good luck and continue to write
