What Is Wrong With Love
What is wrong with love?
So what if my heart beats twice when I think of you?
So what if my heart flutters when I see you?
What is wrong with loving you?
Must our antagonists be this strong?
Must the odds really be against us?
Must the forces against our love be this strong?
Can’t we love each other?
Even if it’s for a short while?
Forget about “forever together”,
We are failing at these small things,
What’s the surety that we can make it?
Can’t we be together?
Is the universe bent on being against us?
I saw a shooting star,
So I thought the moon and the sun were aligned to favour us.
Can’t we be happy together?
Must our story end in tragedy?
What is really wrong with love?
Is it really not meant for us?
