What Is the Meaning of Isolation and Insanity

What is the meaning of isolation? the process or fact of isolating or being isolated. "the isolation of older people" * denoting a hospital or ward for patients with contagious or infectious diseases. What is the meaning of insanity? * the state of being seriously mentally ill; madness. This small virus that is infected millions of lives has left us in unwanted isolation, driving us in madness and insanity. Lord give us patience to understand and forgive. A solution for the outbreak so it will come to an end. Like the squirrel in “Ice Age,” a 2002 American computer-animated comedy film. It is trying so hard to keep the last pinecone left on earth, but seem to elude him. Has it come to that? Quote: Proverbs 17:22 A joyful mind maketh age flourishing: a sorrowful spirit drieth up the bones. *New International Version *Oxford Dictionaries

I too am praying they will find a virus to annihilate this horrible virus. I told my friend yesterday I thought maybe it is all a hoax. She assured me it is not. She has seven nurses for sisters. They have told her some horror stories. And they do know people who have passed from this.

Bravo for writing on this subject Eve, I think the mental health issues are as deadly as the actual virus. I lost my uncle on Monday he gave up the will to live and stopped eating and drinking as he couldn't have visitors - the care home he is in have lost 13 people recently and NONE of them to the virus but more likely to depression, been a tough week for me lost 2 family and 3 friends - but none to the virus as far as I am aware:-( hugs jan xx

I am so sorry for your loss. I hear that in the hospitals that is the biggest concerns; family are not allow to come and visit. I passed the hospital the other day and the visitors parking lot was empty. :'( I think that the loneliness is what is getting to me as well. You and your family stay safe. Hugs Eve

Hi Eve, I love the content of this write. I think that I am lucky in two ways, firstly, I am in self |Isolation with my sister and we get on really well, secondly, I was born with some damage to the brain and I think differently than others, so having any mental issues is not an issue for me.I am used to being at home. Have a wonderful Sunday. Hugs....Mike. XX. SWtay safe, my friend.

Your poem provides support in this worst time. The proverb you have cited is very true. This ruthless covid too will hesitate to touch a joyful mind. Stay at home, dear friend.
