What Is Stupider
What’s stupider?
Knowing that this is going nowhere,
But awaiting for a response from you
Knowing that there’s no going back,
But enjoying those small tingles whenever the screen flashes
Knowing that you’re different from before,
But expecting the same as before
Knowing that I’ve lost,
But reminiscing how you made me feel so loved
Knowing that you’re distancing yourself from me,
Yet not willing to accept it
Knowing that it hurts and certainly feel utterly and hopelessly foolish,
Still, clinging onto that last thread of hope..
Oh how quickly my days changed from the usual,
To sweet unrealistic dreams of you and I
And how painfully easy it was to change,
In the blink of an eye.
