What Is Scary
What is scary to me?
A re-occuring dream of Dick Cheney with a gun
... unloaded
What is frightening to me?
Realizing that sometimes
At any moment...
The Republicans and Democrats
will put out a hit on me... for not voting
What is spine chilling to me?
Counting blessings by two's
What makes me shiver?
... Well to be honest knowing that God is always watching
(should've never had that one night stand last night)
I may forget but he won't
What is scary to me?
Trying to reconstructure my whole life...
Like yours, his and hers...
Cuz' apparently nobody
is good enough for themselves
What is terrifying to me?
That many will read this poem...
And will either laugh, ignore or not understand
What is scary to me?
...I will always have the last laugh(ha ha ha)
